Tim Medianick, DMD, FICOI
Dr. Tim Medianick and his family (one of ten children!) moved to Levittown, Pennsylvania from Ukraine when he was 13 years old. Prior to finding his calling as a dentist, Dr. Medianick picked up music as a child, learning to play both classical piano and alto saxophone. He graduated from Messiah College and received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, passing his clinical dental boards with an impressive 100%. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a member of the American Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Medianick is a graduate of the Hands-On-Training Institute in Dental Implantology and was awarded a prestigious fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, making him one of the few dentists certified to place implants. He and his wife Ann (a native of Berks County) are the proud parents of three children, and they devote much of their time to their roles at a local church. Dr. Medianick enjoys road biking, exercise, and travel.
Teresa, RDH, is a graduate of Northampton Community College, where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene; she has worked at the practice since 1989. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and is currently their treasurer. Teresa is a distinguished member of the Academy of Dental Hygiene Studies. She also serves on the board of the Dental Treatment Fund at the Berks County Community Foundation and is a founder of the Free Children’s Dental Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital which has been serving the community for over 10 years. Teresa is a lifelong resident of Berks and is active at her church. Besides her many hours of volunteer work, she loves to spend time with her husband and two teenage children as well.
Heather, RDH, has been a resident of Berks County since 1986. She has worked as a dental hygienist since 1997 and began working at the practice in 1998. She enjoys weight lifting and reading on nutrition and natural homeopathic medicine. Heather is married with a daughter and loves animals. She also writes paranormal/historical romance.
Karen, RDH, is the newest member of our team at Boulevard Dental Associates. She is originally from Sullivan County, PA and holds her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Thomas Jefferson University and her Associates degree from Keystone College in LaPlume, PA. Karen brings with her 33 years of experience as a dental hygienist and educator. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor activities, bird watching, travel and friendly pistol-shooting competitions with her husband. Karen also volunteers at her church teaching CCD and serves in the soup kitchen for the needy. Karen and her husband love animals and have 2 cats, Jinx and Nugget.
Traci has been part of the Boulevard Dental team since 2009 and currently is the office facilitator. She has worked in the dental field since 1990 as a dental assistant and office manager. She enjoys working in the dental field because she loves talking to patients and forming relationships with them. Her favorite thing about working at Boulevard Dental Associates is getting to work with the wonderful staff and doctors. Traci is active in her church. She is married and has two daughters who she enjoys watching play field hockey, basketball and lacrosse. She also enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy has been a part of the practice since 2003. She is the insurance coordinator and is usually the one who greets our patients upon their arrival. Nancy is privileged to be the wife of a pastor, and has two wonderful daughters who are married to two equally wonderful “sons.” She is also blessed to be a Grammy of four! She teaches a weekly ladies’ Bible study and is involved in a variety of ministries at her church. She loves to travel, read fantasies and classic mysteries and is an avid Wizard of Oz fan. Her favorite part of her job at our office is getting to know our patients and their families so she can encourage and support them through the “ups and downs” in their lives.
Kiley has been part of the Boulevard Dental team since 2009. She is a Certified Dental Assistant as well as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, and she enjoys being part of a team that is focused on providing patients with the best experience possible. Her personal goal is to treat every patient with the same high standard of care that she herself would want to receive. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dan, daughter Brealyn, dog Macy and extended family. She likes being active and enjoys watching and attending all different sporting events.
Cristina has been with Boulevard Dental since 2014. She has studied at Berks Technical Institute to become a dental assistant. She is bilingual, being fluent in both English and Spanish. One of the things she enjoys most outside of work is spending time with her fiancé and two children.
Charlene made a career change from the legal field as a Paralegal to the dental field after her first of many medical mission trips. She did her initial Dental Assistant studies at Reading Area Community College where she earned her certificate as a Dental Assistant. Charlene later continued her dental studies at Harcum College where she earned her EFDA Certificate. She passed the state exam in July of 2016 and maintains a PA License status as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently, she is a member of the EFDA Association of PA. Charlene’s passion for helping others is best exhibited by her chairside assistance at Boulevard Dental. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her three grandchildren. Knitting, sewing, gardening and exercising are some of the hobbies she enjoys.
