Our Trip to Dental Hygiene Conference 2026!

We unpacked our bags—the excitement was at an all-time high! Teresa, Heather, and myself (Dawn) recently visited National Harbor, Maryland, where we spent an incredible, few whirlwind days at the “RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) Under One Roof” dental hygiene conference.

From the moment the keynote speakers took the stage, the energy was electric. For three days, our team immersed ourselves in the future of dental health—we reconnected with old friends, made wonderful new connections, and soaked up every bit of cutting-edge technology the industry has to offer.

But the most exciting thing for us about the whole conference is what this all means for you–our amazing patients!

The Deep Dive–What We Learned:

We didn’t just sit in lecture halls; we actively gathered fresh insights to elevate your care. The educational sessions were packed with paradigm-shifting information. Here is a sneak peek at the fascinating topics we explored:

From Mouth to Guts and Essential Nutrition: We deepened our understanding of the oral-systemic connection. What happens in your mouth directly impacts your gut microbiome and overall wellness!

Nano-Hydroxyapatite and Desiccation Therapy: We explored the next-generation materials and therapies to strengthen enamel, fight sensitivity, and manage biofilm like never before.

Oxygen-Ozone Therapy: We looked into innovative, minimally invasive ways to combat oral bacteria and promote natural healing.

When Breathing, Bones, and Hormones Collide: We analyzed how airway health, bone density, and hormone shifts intersect to impact your oral and sleep health.

Oral Dysfunction, Sleep, and Systemic Health: We uncovered how proper jaw development and tongue posture can be the key to a better night’s rest and a healthier life.

Dental Anomalies and Real-Time Monitoring: We equipped ourselves with the latest diagnostic tools to identify structural anomalies early and to monitor changes in real time.

*Our Ultimate Takeaway: “Learn Today, Prevent Tomorrow.”

The Future of Hygiene at Boulevard Dental:

We returned from the conference with full notebooks, inspired minds, and a treasure trove of new techniques, revolutionary products, and fresh ideas.

We have always believed that dental hygiene is about so much more than “just cleaning teeth.” It’s about total body wellness, longevity, and proactive care. We can’t wait to introduce you to these advanced concepts at your next visit!

Have you scheduled your next cleaning and wellness check? Ask myself (Dawn), Heather, and Teresa about our most impactful breakthroughs from the conference during your next appointment. We’d love to share!
