1. What is your full name?
Alma Garcia
2. Where were you born and where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Reading, PA.
3. What languages do you speak?
I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
4. Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Berks Technical Institute in 2025 with an associate’s degree in dental assisting.
5. Can you tell us about your immediate family?
I am happily married to my husband for eight years now and we have two beautiful children. Our 4-year-old daughter’s name is Vivienne, and our two-year-old son’s name is Emir.
6. Do have previous work experience in the dental field, and if so, for how long?
Yes, I have worked in the dental field since 2016.
7. What interests you about the dental field?
The thing that is the most interesting to me about the dental field is being able to help patients and make them feel comfortable.
8. When did you start working at Boulevard Dental?
I started my journey with Boulevard Dental on March 25, 2024.
9. Can you describe your current job responsibilities as a dental assistant?
I assist Dr. Medianick with dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions. I also disinfect the operatory rooms, sterilize instruments, etc.
10. What do you like about working at Boulevard Dental?
I most enjoy my coworkers and the patients. We are all family here and everyone feels so welcomed when they walk into the office.
11. What are your hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy doing all things with my family, such as going on walks with them, going to the park, gardening, movie nights, workshops with my kids, and much more.
